CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (TCD) -- Law enforcement officials are seeking the public’s help in gathering more information about a motocross and snowboard instructor who officials believe raped children in several states.
According to the statement, Meyung ran a business called Live Your Dreams MX which "involved him traveling around the United States and other countries building motocross tracks." Live Your Dreams MX was based in Indiana.
Meyung also reportedly mentored children in motocross and has connections to youth ministries. According to the Hamilton County District Attorney’s Office, Meyung was a delivery driver with no known address. He reportedly lived with families in areas where he built motocross tracks. He also reportedly sometimes lived out of a bus that he co-owned with somebody whom prosecutors did not name.
Hamilton County District Attorney Neal Pinkston said in a press conference that Homeland Security set up a tip line for any information about Meyung and additional victims. According to WTVC-TV, Ryan Meyung’s twin brother Bryan Meyung and a woman named Marisa Davis were arrested on charges of evidence tampering. Pinkston said in the press conference the charges were related to Ryan Meyung’s investigation, but he did not elaborate.
Ryan Meyung is currently being held on three counts of child rape, two counts of aggravated kidnapping, and other charges.
