MINDEN, La. (TCD) -- A 47-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly stabbing a 32-year-old man to death over the weekend.
According to KTBS-TV, Minden Police Chief Steve Cropper said Tqarontarion "TQ" Harrison "died from a single stab would to his back that punctured his lung." The suspect, Angela Washington, allegedly used a kitchen knife in the attack.
Cropper told KTBS that Harrison tried driving himself to a nearby hospital, but he reportedly crashed his car into the building. He was then transported to Ochsner LSU Health, a hospital nearly 30 miles away in Shreveport. Harrison died from his wounds after emergency surgery.
Harrison’s brother, 24-year-old L'Jarius Sneed, plays on the Kansas City Chiefs as a cornerback. Sneed missed the Chiefs' Sunday game against the Las Vegas Raiders to spend time with his family.
In a profile by the Kansas City Star, Sneed spoke about how Harrison raised him while both of their parents were incarcerated when they were young boys. Harrison reportedly helped his brothers by doing laundry, changing diapers, and cooking meals for his brothers. Harrison reportedly called Sneed his "little dude."
According to WDAF-TV, Sneed’s teammate Tyrann Mathieu said following Sunday’s win, "Anytime somebody loses somebody that close to them, obviously, I feel like most of us could relate to that, losing people. Just wanted to play for him today, his family. I feel like we did that. I feel like we started the game with some ‘'L'Jarius energy' and so we kind of kept it going throughout the game."
