Further investigation revealed that Yost allegedly assaulted his girlfriend in Detroit, placed her in his car, and drove to Gratiot Avenue near I-94, where they were found.
Yost was charged with second-degree murder and arraigned in Roseville District Court on Thursday, Nov. 16. He remains held in the Macomb County Jail without bond and was ordered not to contact the victim's family. Yost is set to appear in court for a probable cause hearing on Wednesday, Nov. 29, and a preliminary exam on Wednesday, Dec. 6.
Yost faces life in prison if convicted.
