Ohio woman accused of defecating on chapel altar and wiping herself with runner

HAMILTON COUNTY, Ohio (TCD) -- Officials have arrested a 26-year-old woman who allegedly defecated on a church altar over the weekend.
On Saturday, May 13, Laura Miniard, of Loveland, entered the Good Samaritan Hospital chapel in Cincinnati and allegedly defecated on the altar, WXIX-TV reports. She then reportedly wiped herself with a cloth runner.
According to a criminal complaint obtained by WKRC-TV, Miniard also allegedly spread feces on the altar table using a picture she found in the chapel.
Hamilton County court records show Miniard faces a charge of desecration. She was booked into the Hamilton County Jail on Monday, May 15, with a bond set at $2,500. Miniard is set to appear in court on May 25.
Officials did not disclose a motive.
