Last week Ettel was captured on video calling the police on an 8-year-old girl for selling bottled water on the street. The video was recorded by the girl's mother Erin Austin, who said her daughter Jordan was raising money for a trip to Disneyland. "She said 'if you don't show me a permit, I'm calling the cops.' [I replied] 'Okay, call them.' When she pushed 911 dial, I pulled my phone out of my pocket," Autin said. She started recording, and the video quickly went viral. Ettel publicly apologized and admits she should've just walked away.
