Man faces felony charges for spree of property destruction, assault

SANDY, Utah -- (KSTU) -- A man who allegedly went on a destructive rampage in his car Sunday is now facing felony charges for the spree, which included crashes into a home, cars, a business and a police station.
Phillip DeLuca, 36, was arrested Sunday after the path of destruction he left in his wake, and he allegedly abandoned his disabled vehicle and walked some distance before breaking into a home to assault a business partner.
Homeowners are left to clean up the damage, and they tell FOX 13 News they are glad DeLuca is behind bars. The man is facing three felony charges: One count of assault, one count of aggravated assault and one count of aggravated burglary.
