Suburban mom dies after being shot on Wisconsin highway

DEFOREST, Wis. -- (WGN) -- A 44-year-old woman from the Chicago suburbs has died after she was shot on a Wisconsin highway Sunday afternoon as her family returned from a trip to Wisconsin Dells.
"We are sad to announce just days before Mother's Day the passing of Tracy Czaczkowski," the US Drug Enforcement Agency said in a statement. According to the statement, Tracy's husband has worked for the DEA for 11 years. Tracy was also the mother of two young children. Tracy's husband and children were not injured in the shooting.
