Ohio man allegedly shot brother multiple times while he was lying in bed

DEER PARK, Ohio (TCD) -- An at-large suspect who reportedly shot his brother was recently found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
According to the initial press release from the Deer Park Police Department, on June 22, at approximately 8:42 a.m., authorities responded to the 7800 block of Monterey Avenue, where they found a 66-year-old male victim suffering from several gunshot wounds. He was reportedly pronounced deceased.
Upon further investigation, police said they identified 70-year-old Michael Mueller as the suspect who fatally shot his brother. Court documents obtained by WXIX-TV allege Michael was visiting Mark Mueller’s home and became angry. Michael reportedly grabbed a gun and shot Mark nine times while he was lying in bed.
In their news release, police said Michael was driving a 2018 White Ford F-150, and they asked for the public’s help in finding him. In an update posted on June 25, police announced they found Michael’s vehicle at a local hotel. After a Lexington SWAT team reportedly tried negotiating with Michael, they forced entry and found him deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
