Ex-high school guidance counselor sentenced to 2 years for sex with student

CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio (WJW) -- A former guidance counselor at Cuyahoga Falls High School was sentenced to two years in prison.
Rebecca Sparrow, 37, of Cuyahoga Falls, pleaded guilty to one count of sexual battery in November.
Sparrow must register with the sheriff's office every 90 days for the rest of her life. An evaluation said she was at medium risk to repeat her behavior.
Sparrow was accused of engaging in sexual conduct with a student, who was 17 years old at the time. Bath Township police said the incident occurred between February and May 2016.
