An Illinois mother and two of her children are accused of killing her 6-year-old son on his birthday and then reporting him missing. Three adult family members have been arrested. Prosecutors say the family kept Damari Perry’s body either in a car or in a house for days. |

An 18-year-old New Mexico woman allegedly left her newborn son in a dumpster after giving birth in a bathroom. Police responded when “dumpster divers” discovered the baby after hearing his cries. The infant suffered from hypothermia, but survived. |

A Texas babysitter is accused of kidnapping a 9-year-old child. The child’s mother used an iPhone app and alerted dispatchers to her son’s whereabouts. Police caught up to suspect Madison Ling, reportedly driving with a man not involved in the crime. |

A San Antonio woman was arrested after young children left in her care were found confined and alone. The children’s parents are reportedly being investigated by Child Protective Services for alleged abuse. A 1-year-old girl was found bound, with a black eye and bloody lip. |
