Missing pregnant teen from Florida found dead in Alabama

JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (TCD) -- A 33-year-old man was arrested this week in connection with the disappearance and death of a missing 19-year-old woman.
On May 8, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office said officials were searching for Anastasia Gilley, who was last seen at her home May 3. The statement also said she is four months pregnant.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Office began working closely with the Houston County Sheriff's Office in Alabama, and on May 10, investigators located a body near Headland, Alabama. The Jackson County Sheriff's Office believes the body is that of Gilley, but autopsy results are still pending. As a result, detectives arrested Marquis Devan McCloud on a charge of capital murder during kidnapping.
McCloud has reportedly been "uncooperative throughout this entire investigation."
According to WDHN-TV, McCloud was initially arrested for violating parole because he crossed state lines by traveling from Alabama to Florida. He and Gilley reportedly knew each other, but the extent of their relationship was not immediately clear.
