KANSAS CITY, Mo. (TCD) -- A missing 13-year-old boy who had not been seen since early February was found dead over the weekend in a wooded area, though police said there are no outward signs of foul play.
According to Kansas City Police, Jayden Robker was last seen Feb. 2 at 3 p.m. near Northwest Plaza Drive and Northwest Plaza Avenue riding his Razor skateboard and wearing a camouflage sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and Puma sneakers. The FBI got involved in the investigation and offered a $5,000 reward for information related to Robker’s disappearance.
On March 10, Gladstone Police started a death investigation after a body was found in a wooded area near Northwest Englewood Road and North Broadway. Gladstone Police later positively identified Robker as the deceased person found in the woods and said preliminary autopsy findings "indicate no obvious evidence of foul play."
KMBC-TV reports divers retrieved Robker’s from a pond. He was reportedly last seen near a QuikTrip and planned to sell some Pokémon cards.
Robker’s mother told WDAF-TV her son was a "very ambitious kid."
She shared, "He loved skateboarding. He loved Pokémon. He wanted to be a gamer."
He leaves behind his parents and five younger siblings.
