CLEARWATER, Fla. (TCD) -- A 36-year-old man has been arrested and charged after allegedly having sex with a dog.
According to a news release from the Clearwater Police Department, on the night of Sunday, Dec. 4, officers responded to the 2600 block of McMullen Booth Road. At the scene, police said Chad Mason "was seen having sex with a dog."

Mason was allegedly confronted by one of the witnesses, and he "began to wreak havoc in the surrounding areas."
According to police, Mason went into a church and "knocked over a nativity display and broke several potted plants." In total, Mason reportedly caused $400 in damages to the church.
Mason also allegedly ruined a mailbox and tried to steal a vehicle.
Police said Mason was eventually taken into custody and faces multiple charges, including sexual activity involving animals, two counts of lewd or lascivious exhibition, two counts of exposure of sexual organs, criminal mischief, and criminal mischief to a place of worship.
