Upon further investigation, police identified the victim’s daughter, Hend Bustami, as a suspect. Bustami was later found in Barstow by California Highway Patrol and taken into custody, according to police.
She will reportedly be charged with open murder and is awaiting extradition back to Las Vegas.
Police said the Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the cause and manner of death, as well as the victim’s identity.
Before the alleged killing, Bustami went to the Chili’s at the Las Vegas airport and left without paying. When police found her, she became "belligerent with officers" and started "saying she was being harassed because cops [had] never seen anyone as pretty as her."
Bustami allegedly said she was going to "spit on all" the police officers because they were "perverts and were trying to rape her" because the cops had "never seen anyone as good-looking."
