Upon further investigation and a witness statement, the Sheriff’s Office says they concluded that Wolfe’s stepson, Jamie Vines, shot him during an argument. Authorities did not release what caused the argument.
Vines was reportedly arrested and booked into the Walker County Jail. According to the Sheriff’s Office, on Monday, Sept. 12, investigator Carl Carpenter met with District Attorney Bill Adair’s Office to secure a warrant for intentional murder against Vines.
Vines appeared in court on Monday, Sept. 12, and his bond was set at $250,000, the Sheriff’s Office said.
