WESTLAND, Mich. (TCD) -- A 49-year-old man faces murder and other charges after his wife was found dead in their garage with several injuries.
According to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office, on May 3 at 9 p.m., officers from the Westland Police Department responded to a call on the 32620 block of Judy Drive for a possible homicide. When they arrived, police located a female victim inside the garage with multiple lacerations on her body.
The suspect, William Grant, allegedly ran away before police arrived. He was later apprehended.
Grant is accused of stabbing his wife, Sarah Grant, several times with a pair of scissors and killing her.
He was booked into the Wayne County Jail on charges of premeditated first-degree murder, murder, and torture. Jail records show he is being held without bond.
