Caregiver arrested after allegedly sexually battering 90-year-old bedridden woman with dementia

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. (TCD) -- A 51-year-old caregiver was arrested after allegedly sexually assaulting a 90-year-old woman in his care.
According to WOFL-TV, another caregiver reportedly caught Billy Bunn sexually assaulting the elderly woman at a home on Timerlane Drive. Bunn allegedly fled the scene, and the witness reported him to authorities.
According to WKMG-TV, Bunn allegedly exposed himself to the woman. The victim is bedridden and suffers from dementia. She was not injured from the incident.
On Wednesday, April 27, Bunn was reportedly located in Daytona Beach and taken into custody. According to records, Bunn was booked into Volusia County Jail on $5,000 bond, and he was charged with lewd or lascivious offense and battery on a person 65 or older.
