Louisiana man arrested for allegedly possessing images of child porn and bestiality

BOSSIER CITY, La. (TCD) -- A 35-year-old man was arrested last week for reportedly possessing pornographic images of children and sex with animals.
According to a news release from the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office, on Friday, Jan. 7, detectives served a search warrant at Michael Lofton's home in the 1100 block of Dudley Street. During the investigation, the Sheriff's Office says detectives recovered files containing child sexual abuse images and other content displaying bestiality. Lofton's cellphone was reportedly seized as evidence.
According to the Sheriff's Office, "Lofton was arrested and charged with 13 counts of pornography involving juveniles and 20 counts of sexual abuse of an animal." He was booked into the Bossier Maximum Security Facility on a $450,000 bond.
