Missouri man arrested after his mother is found dead inside her home

LIBERTY, Mo. (TCD) -- A 20-year-old man was arrested Friday after his mother was found dead inside her home.
According to the Liberty Police Department, officers responded to a house in the 400 block of Glendale around 11:47 p.m. to "investigate a man reported to be out of control." At the scene, authorities discovered the victim, 46-year-old Jill Little, deceased inside the residence.
Her death was ruled a homicide and her son Austin Little was identified as a suspect in her death, the Liberty Police Department said. Austin Little reportedly fled the home on foot prior to officers' arrival.
The Claycomo Police Department assisted in the search with the Liberty Police Department. Claycomo Police officers reportedly located Austin in the 400 block of Gordon Street.
According to the Liberty Police Department, Austin was arrested and charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action in connection to his mother’s death. He was booked into the Clay County Jail with a bond set at $1 million.
