WMUR-TV reports the deadly weapons allegedly included a machete, brass knuckles, and a pistol.
According to the Attorney General’s statement, officers from the Bedford Police Department were called to the Country Inn and Suites on South River Road at 7 p.m. on August 21. When officers arrived on scene, they reportedly found a deceased male in the lobby and another victim in a hotel room.
On Monday, the Attorney General’s office released a follow-up statement identifying the victims and their causes of death. The victim found in the lobby was 28-year-old Nathan Cashman of Manchester, New Hampshire. The Attorney General’s office said Deputy Chief Medical Examiner Mitchell Weinberg determined Cashman died from "multiple chop wounds of the head, neck, and body."
Authorities identified the victim in the hotel room as 60-year-old David Hanford from Seaside Heights, New Jersey. Deputy Chief Medical Examiner Weinberg found Hanford’s cause of death was ligature strangulation. Both deaths were ruled as homicides, the statement says.
One of Cashman’s friends told WMUR that Cashman and Luckey were reportedly friends.
According to WMUR, Luckey was ordered to be held in the Hillsborough County House of Corrections without bail.
