BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) -- A man is accused of raping a child for nearly two years in Butler County. Rodrigo Medina, 46, faces four counts of rape and two counts of gross sexual imposition.
The investigation began when the girl's parents saw inappropriate contact between Medina and the girl on their home security camera.
The girl detailed allegations of sexual abuse to police that "would not be commonly known by a 9-year-old child," according to court papers.
The abuse allegedly began in January 2018 and ended in October 2020.
Medina was arrested Oct. 7, the Cincinnati Enquirer reports. The child's parents discovered the rapes were occurring after reviewing the footage, investigators said.
