CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) -- The U.S. Marshals Service announced Monday the arrest of 67-year-old Julio Rentas.
Rentas was wanted for the rape of a 14-year-old in Cleveland in a 1981 case. According to a U.S. Marshals news release, Rentas was released on bond in the case and disappeared.
The Cold Case Unit of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force in Cleveland developed leads that tracked Rentas to Puerto Rico. He was arrested September 9 in Juna Diaz.
