Johnson's body was dumped in the street on Weller Ave. in Akron 28 years ago and was found by a passerby. Johnson, the mother of a 3-year-old girl, had been sexually assaulted, suffered blunt force trauma, was stabbed multiple times and was set on fire. Investigators say she got a flat tire on her way home from a friend's house. Her body was found hours later. Daniel L. Rees, 57, faces a charge of aggravated murder.
