Woman tried to kidnap 2-year-old at Oklahoma City ice rink, police say 01/20/2020 6:36 pm PST Comments KFOR via KFOR: OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) -- A woman was arrested after an alleged kidnapping attempt at Devon Ice Rink Sunday afternoon. The Dickerson family was at the rink when they noticed a woman staring at their 2-year-old daughter. When the girl's grandfather tried to pick her up, the stranger tried to take her. The girl's father pushed the woman away, but the woman kept yelling and reportedly tried to get away with the child again. The father says he pushed her away a second time. Staff and security in the area quickly stepped in. Witnesses say the woman tried faking a seizure. Oklahoma City Police responded and took the woman into custody for attempted kidnapping. She was not immediately identified.
