Odell Beckham Jr.'s arrest warrant for battery has been recalled, according to his lawyer. The NFL star had allegedly struck a Mercedes-Benz Superdome security guard on the backside, according to the New Orleans Police.
NEW ORLEANS (WREG) -- Daniel Davillier, an attorney for NFL star Odell Beckham Jr., said a warrant for his client has been recalled.
Beckham was facing arrest in New Orleans for a locker room incident after LSU’s win in the College Football Playoff National Championship.
On Jan. 16, the New Orleans Police Department obtained an arrest warrant of misdemeanor simple battery for the Cleveland Browns player after he appeared to swat a security guard. The scene was recorded on video.
“The security officer involved does not wish to pursue charges in this matter. This legal matter has been resolved,” Davillier told CNN.
