DES MOINES, Iowa -- (WHO) -- The reward for missing University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts has risen to $260,000, the largest in Crime Stoppers of Central Iowa's history.
Mollie Tibbetts, 20, has been missing since July 19. She was on a jog in Brooklyn, Iowa, wearing a sports bra, gym shorts and running sneakers. Family says the last contact they had with her was at 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, through Snapchat.
Crime Stoppers encourages anyone to speak up with the promise they won't be identified, stressing the secure server doesn't allow for sensitive information to be processed. When making a tip, the anonymous person is given an identification number. Anyone with information into the case should call 1-800-452-1111.
