UPDATE October 2, 2018:
Four dentists from California, including three brothers, who faced rape charges for the alleged assault of a woman at the Wynn Las Vegas, had all charges dismissed in court Monday, KSNV reports.
Charged were Ali Badkoobehi and brothers Poria Edalat, Saman Edalat and Sina Edalat. The charges included sex assault, conspiracy to commit sex assault and first-degree kidnapping for the late July incident. Prosecutors dropped all charges during a very brief hearing Monday before Las Vegas Justice Court Judge Eric Goodman.
Badkoobehi’s attorneys Robert Draskovich and Michael Horvath said video showed that the allegations were false and the sex was consensual, the Las Vegas Review Journal reports. Craig Hendricks, who represents Poria Edalat, said prosecutors were presented exculpatory video evidence that showed “extremely different” circumstances than what was initially reported to authorities.

LAS VEGAS -- (KSNV) -- Four dentists from California, including three brothers, face rape charges after an alleged assault of a woman at the Wynn Las Vegas last weekend.
Charged are Ali Badkoobehi and brothers Poria Edalat, Saman Edalat and Sina Edalat. They face charges that include sex assault, conspiracy to commit sex assault and first-degree kidnapping.
According to an arrest report by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, an unidentified woman met a man who identified himself as Ali at the Wynn and they began drinking at a bar behind the pool. The reports says he invited her to his room to continue drinking.
About 10 minutes after they entered the room, she said Badkoobehi pushed her into a large chair and got on top of her and tried to pull her pants down. She said she resisted. The report says the three other suspects entered the room and forced her to have sex. She said she resisted, but was too intoxicated and too overwhelmed by the number of people attacking to prevent the attacks. She begged for them to stop, the report says, and eventually she was allowed to gather her clothes and got dressed. She took the elevator down and met her friend.
They reported the assault to police and she went to UMC where a sexual assault nurse's examination was conducted and the results confirmed her story. Wynn security officers made contact at the room where the alleged attacks occurred and detained seven people for questioning, eventually filing charges on the four men.
The four suspects have been released on their own recognizance and have surrendered their passports. They are scheduled for another court hearing Oct. 1.
