Candidate for Governor Shri Thanedar answers allegations of abandoning dogs used in testing

LANSING, Mich. -- (WXYZ) -- Shri Thanedar is being dogged by allegations he tested drugs prior to going to market on dogs and monkeys, and when the business went under the animals were abandoned.
“As a result of our research, no animal was ever harmed. This is a necessary evil.. You've got to do testing if we want the medicine,” Thanedar tells 7 Investigator Jim Kiertzner.
This happened in 2010 in upstate Middletown, New York.
The Times Herald-Record covered it and posted a video on You Tube of the rescue of a reported 118 Beagles.
