TAMPA, Fla. -- (WBBH) -- Brownsville, Texas affiliate station KVEO reports that Lois Riess, who is accused of murdering a woman on Fort Myers Beach, will be extradited to the state that arrives first.
Riess is accused of killing Pamela Hutchinson because the two looked alike. Riess is also accused of murdering her husband in Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, last month.
Riess was caught last week on South Padre Island after being recognized.
Reiss waived her right to a Texas court-appointed attorney.
Both Florida and Minnesota authorities have been given a 10-day window to pick her up and transport her to their state. She will be extradited to the state that arrives first.
On April 20, the South Padre Island Police Department Detectives executed a search warrant to the motel room where Riess was staying.
During the search, SPI Detectives recovered two pistols, one .22-caliber and one 9mm.
