CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- (WBBH) -- After five days of jury selection, a Charlotte County cold case finally went to trial Tuesday.
Punta Gorda teen Tara Sidarovich disappeared from her home in 2001. Phillip Barr and David McMannis worked on her home's septic tank that day. Those two are believed to be her murderers.
Barr was already convicted of Sidarovich's murder in 2015. McMannis is now on trial.
The defense argues there is no physical proof that McMannis committed the crime.
