DALLAS -- (KDAF) -- Johnny Manziel's downward spiral continues: The troubled quarterback has reportedly been indicted by a Dallas grand jury.
According to KRLD, Manziel has been indicted on a misdemeanor assault charge. The former Aggie and Cleveland Browns quarterback is accused of hitting ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley so hard outside Hotel ZaZa on January 30, she temporarily lost hearing in one of her ears, and he allegedly threatened to kill her as well.
Crowley was granted a protective order that prevents Manziel for seeing her for two years.
If convicted, Manziel could spend a year in jail.
