MINEOLA, N.Y. -- (WPIX) -- A Long Island teenager has pleaded guilty in connection with a drag-race crash that claimed five lives.
Newsday says Cory Gloe faces six months in jail when he's sentenced on May 20.
Judge Terence Murphy said Thursday he would grant the 19-year-old youthful offender status. That means his record would be sealed and he would not have a criminal record as an adult. He was 17 at the time.
