Woman found dead in Las Vegas laundry chute

CITRUS HEIGHTS, Calif. -- (KTXL) -- Authorities confirm the woman found dead at the base of a laundry chute in the D Las Vegas hotel-casino Sunday was 26-year-old Kalli Medina-Brown of Citrus Heights.
"I just saw her like two weeks ago," Medina Brown's friend Alyssa Skinner said.
Skinner told FOX40 she was stunned that her good friend and former Wheatland High School classmate died during a trip to Vegas, since she was such a smart and careful young woman.
