Three NYPD officers heading to Ohio rescue woman in Pennsylvania crash

CLARION, Pa. -- (WPIX) -- Three New York City police officers who were on their way to Ohio to pay respects to a fallen K9 helped rescue a woman in an overturned ambulette in western Pennsylvania.
WJW-TV reports that Officers Benny Colecchio, Daniel Rich, and Matt Wizelinski left New York City Thursday afternoon to attend the memorial service in Canton, Ohio for K9 Officer Jethro. Jethro was shot and killed by a suspect over the weekend.
They came upon the ambulette in Clarion, Pennsylvania, about 64 miles from the Ohio border. A woman in a wheelchair was trapped inside.
