Cop shoots, kills ax-wielding student

DENTON, Tex. -- (KDAF) -- The streets surrounding the University of North Texas in Denton seemed unusually quiet on the cold, damp Sunday; news of a deadly shooting circulated the campus community.
Ryan McMillan, a sophomore, pre-hospitality major, was shot and killed by a campus cop early Sunday morning. Ryan just turned 21-years-old on Saturday.
UNT cops say an officer responded to a disturbance near the intersection of Oak and Fry Streets.
