Suspect in wife's murder at nursing home was out on bond

CANTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- (WJW) -- The suspect in his wife's murder at a Canton Township nursing home was taken into custody in southern Ohio Wednesday afternoon.
The shooting happened at the Astoria Nursing Home on 12th Street just before 8 a.m. Wednesday, the sheriff's office said.
Astoria Nursing Home co-owners, Michael Slyk and Tim Chesney, told FOX 8's Stacey Frey a nurse was leaving work when she was shot in the parking lot. The shooting was not work related. All patients and other employees are safe.
