UPDATE June 28, 2018:
Accused “Grid Kid Killer” John Giuca went into a rage during a hearing on June 28, 2018, speaking for the first time ever in court after a judge again declined to set bail pending his murder retrial, the New York Post reports.
In one of the most sensational murder cases in New York history, John Giuca, nicknamed the “Grid Kid Killer,” was convicted of second-degree murder in the death of high school football star Mark Fisher.
In an exclusive interview, Crime Watch Daily's Jason Mattera goes behind bars for Giuca's first-ever in-depth prison interview.
During the interview, Giuca, who is serving a 25 years to life sentence and who maintains his innocence, chronicles the events leading to his imprisonment and shares his feelings about how he was allegedly railroaded by prosecutors.
Crime Watch Daily also sits down with Giuca's mother, Doreen Giuliano, who went undercover and secretly recorded her conversations with one of the jurors in his case to expose misconduct. From inside his prison cell, Giuca continues to fight for his freedom and hopes for a new trial to prove he is innocent.
