Judge denies woman's request for stay of execution

ATLANTA -- (WGCL) -- Federal Judge Thomas Thrash Jr. of the Northern District of Georgia has denied Kelly Gissendaner's emergency motion for a stay of execution. He has also denied her emergency motion for a restraining order against the state.
This after lawyers for Gissendaner scrambled to try to convince a judge to halt her execution, which is scheduled to take place Tuesday night.
