ATLANTA -- (WGCL) -- Police are looking for a man who they believe sexually assaulted a woman while at last weekend's science fiction convention Dragon Con in Atlanta.
A spokesperson for the Atlanta Police Department said the assault occurred between 3-5 a.m. Sunday outside a hotel at 265 Peachtree Street, which is the address of the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.
Police said the assault did not occur inside the hotel but that the woman walked outside the hotel with the suspect after a conversation and was assaulted in a remote area.
According to police, the woman had not been feeling well and had consumed alcohol before to meeting the suspect. Police said the victim was not fully intoxicated, but was at a point where she was not able to give consent.
Police also said that a friend of the victim approached the suspect after the assault and was able to take a picture of the man.
The suspect in the assault was wearing a baseball cap, labeled "FBI" and identified himself as "Gary" from Marietta.
If you see the man pictured in this story, you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. There's a $2,000 reward in the case.
